* Trip Leader: Led by Mr. Rafa Escribano and Mr. Luis Antonio Fabre, bilingual English-Spanish Tour Leaders, both highly knowledgeable about all of Bolivia and elite professional mountaineers. Mr. Juventino Martín Albino Caldua, IFMGA – UIAGM – IVBV Certified Mountain Guide, and Mr. Eric Raul Albino Lliuya, Mountain Guide fluent in English and German, will also be leading the expedition. ✅ A journey for adventure and trekking lovers, visiting some of the most iconic highlights of Bolivia: we'll explore the city of La Paz, tour the Uyuni Salt Flats, discover the magical Sun Island, hike the famous Trans-Cordillera Real trek, and finally, summit the iconic snow-capped peak of Huayna Potosí.
ITINERARY
Day 1. July 19: Flight Madrid – La Paz
We will arrive on Saturday, July 19 at 06:40 on flight OB661 from Boliviana de Aviación.
Free day in La Paz (city tour). Overnight bus to Uyuni. A typical classic tour of La Paz, Bolivia. Below is a brief outline of how this type of tour is usually structured: City tour of La Paz, cable car ride to El Alto, Valley of the Moon, lunch, return to La Paz.
Day 2. July 20: We will pick you up at your accommodation in Uyuni to begin the tour with our vehicle.
Day 3. July 21: In the morning, we’ll leave from Colchani and follow the route across the Chiguana salt flat.
Day 4. July 22: We will leave very early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana geysers.
Day 5. July 23: Arrival in La Paz.
Day 6. July 24: La Paz – Copacabana (Acclimatization tour)
Day 7. July 25: Copacabana – Isla del Sol 4200 m / Elevation gain: +390 m
Day 8. July 26: Isla del Sol – Copacabana – Sorata / 2670 m
Day 9. July 27: Sorata – Hanko Uma – Cocoyo 3660 m
Elevation gain: +400 m / descent: –840 m
Day 10. July 28: Cocoyo – Chajolpaya 4300 m
Elevation gain: +940 m / descent: –300 m
Day 11. July 29: Chajolpaya – Negruni 4300 m

Day 17. August 4: Jurikhota – Glacier Lagoon – Austria Peak (optional, 5327 m) – Chiarckota Lagoon 4700 m – Condoriri – La Paz

Day 18. August 5: La Paz (3600 m.a.s.l.) – Base Camp (4780 m.a.s.l.) – High Camp (5270 m.a.s.l.)
Day 19. August 6: High Camp – Huayna Potosí Summit (6094 m.a.s.l.) – La Paz (3600 m.a.s.l.)
Day 20. August 7: Free morning in La Paz

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT AND RESERVATION INFORMATION
Each reservation requires a deposit from 30% (according to total price) as a down payment per person. Once the deposit will be confirmed we will send you your contract voucher. The remaining balance will be due in Huaraz during your briefing at our office or your hotel in cash before your trip. No refund if you cancel less than 30 days!
