Eric was born in 1984 in Unchus, Huaraz, Peru. From a young age, he was inspired by the mountains through the trips he took with his father and grandfather. At 18, he began working as a trekking and mountain guide, assisting his father, Juventino, with tourism. Juventino is an AGMP-UIAGM Mountain Guide from Huaraz, Peru.

Eric is responsible for organizing trekking and mountaineering groups, handling logistics and safety in the Cordillera Blanca, Cordillera Huayhuash, and throughout South America.
